Buster by CRAS causes the material to break due to its high-power hydration effect or reaction, producing an enormous expansive stress, of over 7,000 tonnes per square metre.

Fragmentation is produced between holes previously filled with Buster by CRAS, due to its enormous expansive stress, as shown in the figure above.

This enormous stress has the effect of a compression force (A) and at the same time at right angles with tensile force (B). The demolition will be produced when this tensile force exceeds the demolition resistance. We should not forget that we must always have at least on surface free or exit surface (in the bench or rock to be demolished).
